Competition rules


  1. The competition is organised by the CESNET Association.

  2. The competition is intended for individuals, but teamwork is not prohibited.

  3. By taking part in the competition, participants (individuals) consent to the competition rules.

  4. The competition consists of set of challenges within the CTF platform. The solving of challenges is subject to scoring. The ranking of individuals reflects the score awarded. In case all challenges have been solved before the competition is closed, the time at which the last result was entered is decisive.

  5. The best players will be announced on the online Award Ceremony. Prizes will be sent by post / courier.

  6. Employees of the organiser can take part in the competition, but without any entitlement to prizes.

  7. In order to comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) requirements, you are required to get acquainted with the Personal Data Protection Guidelines relating to the personal data obtained and processed in relation to the organisation of the competition.

  8. The participants shall have no legal entitlement to any competition awards.

  9. The organisers reserve the right to change the competition terms and conditions; or to discontinue, postpone or cancel the competition without any reason or notification.
